studio1group was hired to share in the development of a state-of-the-art media center that will match the standard of the PGA TOUR’s premier brand. The new media center will house all aspects of media work flow for the Players Championship, with an entirely new player interview amphitheater environment, media workroom, control room, lobby and public spaces.
As NBC Sports made its pilgrimage from New York City to Stamford, Connecticut, we were privileged to become involved in the execution and engineering of the design for the Chelsea Piers building. As the original Clairol factory, the site had an industrial feel, and we were charged with participating in the redesign.
Beginning in 2015, and continuing through the present, studio1group led the creation of two AT&T Sportsnet broadcast studios, rebranded two other broadcast studios, as well as, providing broadcast elements for seven remote locations, in a total of four cities: Houston, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Denver.
The NBC Golf Channel’s change to its current logo represented a dramatic shift, one in which its existing brand and the NBC Peacock were merged in to a completely new and modern identity. We had the privilege of being given the responsibility of determining how to bring this new logo to life at its debut in their state-of-the-art headquarters.
